Our single-site and sparkling wines mature in our 400-year-old cellar until they are ready to drink. Depending on the style, our base sparkling wine is matured in large Manhartsberger oak barrels, with most of our Premier Crus mellowing in steel tanks for up to a year.
The bottles are aged 12 metres underground, below the Strasser Gaisberg.
Sometimes the full potential of a vintage only reveals itself after many years of storage. Select vintages are stored in our private wine store until we taste them and declare them to be extremely pleasurable.
